is there a way of making them taste nice? i think i've had them in pasties/pastry slices before and they havent been too bad then

i need a toastie maker but yeah, that might be nice. i'm not supposed to eat bread and eating toasties would be the short cut to podgeville

Baked beans are yum-ness. My favourite are HP beans, the tomato sauce is thick and tomato-y.

Hot or cold, they are yum.

Other inferior brands must only be eaten hot and only with sausages.

Don't like them on toast because I like toast to be crisp, but you can't beat them with cheesy mashed potatoes :)

I had beans today in my dinner :) (corned beef, ham, salami, eggs, chips and beanz with a slice)

I voted meh,cos I'm not a big fan of beans of the baked variety, but they're still pretty cool in my books :)

Which one of the options is they're ok but I wouldn't care if I never ate them again one then?
Is that the meh one?

Hot, cold, whatever ...

I'm inbetween brands at the moment - actually quite liking Heinz. I don't understand people's enthusiasm for Branston.

The best I ever had was Napolina - more like home made - but only ever saw them once...

Sometimes I'll blend baked beans with other cooked beans...

Tesco own brand with reheated baked spuds for tea.

My uncle used to mix beans with curry powder, and then serve them in lettuce leaves as a starter. As I child I thought this was the height of foody sophistication.

baked bean museum of excellence
The 'Baked Bean Museum of Excellence' was conceived and created whilst Captain Beany had a 'half-baked' idea to allow devotees with a 'full- blown' addiction to Baked Beans to visit this truly remarkable and worlds only visual haricot heaven!

Situated in picturesque Port Talbot, home to the birthplace of the late Richard Burton, the very much alive Sir Anthony Hopkins,
and home to awe inspirationable thespian, Michael Sheen, on the south coast of south Wales in the United Kingdom!

:D

I love all beans but I HATE baked beans (the ones you buy as oppose to make at home). As a child I used to eat them WAY too much out of the tin, heated ... whatever... one day I couldn't face them any more and I still can't now. :(

I prefer spaghetti hoops in heinz sauce, but beans are still good.

That's the last nail in your decent person coffin. :D

Spag hoops are the mouse droppings of things to put on toast.

Now a nice tin of piping hot baked beans with spicy sauce and a pile of black pepper lovingly served on a piece of golden brown toast is the nearest thing to heaven you can put on a plate. :)

Not that I can find any fucking beans out here. Had one tin in 16 months and I only managed to buy that 'cos the shop fucked up and had the wrong thing on their shelves.
Help me find some beans i implore you Allah.

They're my worst food. Even worse than parsnips or sprouts. They taste and feel WRONG in the mouth.
