Baked banana and pineapple - whisky instead of rum?

Was bloody gawjus! :cool:

Halved bananas, chunks of fresh pineapple, a sprinkle of cinnamon and the sauce made with a big dollop of dark brown sugar, a generous knob of butter and the glug of whisky.

Next time I'd add some grated fresh ginger but apart from that - lush

Bruichladdich (Islay)

Aberlour, Longmorn 8 yo, Macallan 8yo (Speyside)

Most of their whisky sold today is sourced from Kyndall International, which is part of Whyte & Mackay - one of Scotland's largest producers (40 million litres +) & comes from the following distilleries:

Dalmore (Highland)

Fettercairn (Aberdeenshire)

Invergordon (Highland) - One of Scotlands biggest distilleries.

Jura (Island distillery)

Tamnavulin (Speyside)

Kyndall are also the firm behind about 20 different brands of "Hindu" whisky for the Indian market & supply Lidl's own-brands as well. :)
 
Other own brands include:

Asda - Diageo PLC, which is Bells, Johnnie Walker, Dailuaine, Cragganmore, Glenkinchie, Oban & Cardhu.

Morrisons, Somerfield, Waitrose, M&S - Morrison Bowmore, which is Bowmore, Auchentoshan, Glen Garioch - AKA the little bit of "Irish" in Baileys! :D
