Yep marty i thought that they were about to be going out, whilst listening to the match on 5 live albeit relaxing (after watching the early morning coverage on the TV) The gripping & exciting badminton mixed doubles 2nd round match between Gail Emms & Nathan Robertson against the Chinese ranked # 2 pair Bo Zheng & Ling Gao. Especially the way that Emms & Robertson were on the brink of gong out of the medals and into retirement.

But they showed grit, belief and mental toughness to get the win! With the Zeng & Gao out of the tournament the silver medalists from Athens 2004 have a great chance of getting a medal.

It's the rallies I think. You rarely see a decent rally in tennis these days, as opposed to the power play/drop play you see in badminton.

Plus, I can play badminton reasonably well, can't do shit in tennis
