Actually, the Scot in me was thinking, "hmmm, now if you were to batter and deep fry it..."

I would eat a slice of that in a bap. Only problem is the bacon/sausage thing would confuse me as to what sauce to put on it. Obviously red for bacon and brown for sausage. Can't be mixed. I think with the fact it is sausage heavy would guide me towards brown.

Yeah - they have little closed-off sections in the bigger supermarkets with "PORK STORE - NOT FOR MUSLIMS" written above the door.

Some of them have drapes like old-school pornography shops.

It adds a little extra frisson to the acquisition of porcine comestibles.
