For my money it's one of the best in film history. Never fails to make my hairs stand on end whenever I hear it. I also get a very strong urge to shout 'Great scott!' very loudly.

LOL...I was gonna suggest that's what you coulda watched! I voted yay for back to the future but I probaly enjoyed the Karate Kid more...I had a huge thing for Ralph Machio.

I was sad to notice that the flux capacitor was merely a Y of plastic tubing with some lights in it.

It looked much more futuristic to my childhood eye

Also the DeLorean. Watching the film the other day I saw how crappy that car really was. Back in the day the gull-wing doors were enough to make me class that car as tcte

and...countless 80's classics... i did like the family guy episode that noted we are now at a time we can be nostalgic about the 80's almost in the same way as that film was nostalgic about the 50's
