I know a chap known as Peggy because he thought Ten Pole Tudor was Tent Pole Tudor

Like that old usheress in the cinema at the end of The Great Rock N Roll Swindle, she says "Stop it Tadpole :D , you'll give yourself a coniption fit."

Anyway.. Meeting from about 7.30 pm on Friday.. Well worth the trip.. this is going to ROCK etc. etc.

I think I've finally managed to convince my girlfriend that coming to this is a good idea (tm)

However.. my own commitment to this is wavering somewhat.

There's a national link up at the Gala bingo hall in Lee Bridge road and there's probably some rock tribute band on again at the Standard.

Ooh.. decisions decisions... ed... other stuff.... ed..... stuff...

fuck me, he looks rough.
He always did. I'm with pilchard on this one. Ersatz -- like it. :D

I saw them in 83, I think it was. I remember the guitarist flicked his quiff and I got a faceful of sweat and brylcream. Yuk.

(I didn't pay. Lord no. I used to sneak into gigs at Kent uni.)

Complete brilliance from Eddy tonight.. the man's pure genius.

That's what concerns me about this forum.. you spend so much time discussing total mediocrity..

<urbans latest music snob.. without a modicum of taste.. ;) ;) >

Shit! Last minute shit happened last night and had to blow this out. :(

Even had my tube ticket in my hand too. :(

Err.. I was mainly telling him he needed to get a website together.. :o .. for one fleeting moment I could've been Ed's next manager..

Fucking brilliant! Especially the last song. The man is a real crowd-pleaser. I tried to persuade him to come and play at Offline but he seemed to think he needed a larger forum for his talents. Nice one Hollis, what about Glen Matlock next week?

Next Friday the Cupid Stunts are playing, and they're brilliant.

A glam-rock tribute band that really can play, saw them in Epping a few years back and they rocked  . Glen Matlock's playing on the 30th, but I have to get up at stupid o'clock in the morning to go to Germany the following day. :(

Eddy's in it for the money.. :D

Actually lovely bloke!

It was unable to compile a full set listing. However he did play:

Swords of a Thousand Men
Throwing My Baby Out With The Bathwater

Back
Top Bottom
