I wonder if it would be possible to have a festival with that much space now? Or whether commercial concerns would mean that you had a smaller area to begin with or just filled the place to the gunnels.

I can remember the pyramid stage like that!

me and my sis, and a thousand other kids, would scour the floor in front the next morning - found some pretty good stuff!

Then we'd climb and play on the stage once the bands were over - coz my parents wouldnt leave for a few days later...

The fella who did the pics is really nice. I saw the pics online a few years back and wrote to him about the Glasto ones and the ones he did of Jajouka. Got a lovely response back and exchanged a few emails about festies etc.
