Awesome M & S Cava deal

Usually M & S Cava is about £7 a bottle but you can buy 2 bottles for £10. However, at the moment there is a buy 6 bottles and save 25%, which works on top of the existing deal and you get 6 bottles of Cava for £18.76. The maths:

6 x £7.49 = £44.94
25% discount = £11.24
6 bottles for £30 (2 for £10)
Than off comes the initial discount of £11.24 = £18.76

We bought it yesterday, it's legit. That's just over £3 per bottle! Stock up for Christmas!

We also get vouchers for M&S from the recycling scheme in Maidenhead (though that might be only for purchases over £25.00 come to think of it) and we have been wondering what to spend them on!

Apparently they were really promoting it in the store - he said there were two sales people near the entrance with details of the promotion - so worth getting there asap folks while stocks last!

Similar thing I found at sainsburys the other day. 3 bottles of wine for £10. Most are shit 3.50 bottles but one is some nice £9 stuff. Buy six and get 5% extra off on top before the reduction to £10 for each set of three. Crikey, it pays to buy the more expensive stuff.

6X9 = 54
5% discount for 6 = 2.20
£20 for 6
minus 2.20 = 17.80

thank you missfran I now have 6 bottles of cava for less than £19. The best I was doing before was Threshers 2 for 3 for about £14 for the Vineyard X stuff.

To be honest I kept waiting to be told that they had made a mistake!
