I was told they taste nasty and bitter if warmed though?is that rubbish?

not ime, I've had them on pizza and in chilli dishes and they've never tasted bitter or nasty. Maybe I've got odd tastebuds

Fave: take a square piece of nori smeared with a bit of aïoli and roll it into a cone with smoked salmon, minced shallot and avocado slices inside.
