First trailer is up...
Superbowl spot was good, sets the right tone but gives very little away.
To be honest they barely need to market this, hopefully they stick to a less-is-more ethos.
Methinks there's some VFX trickery in a few of those shots though (similar to the Infinity War trailer showing Cap's gang charging at the camera with Hulk).
2 months to go.
new trailer :
They're really nailing the marketing for this so far, not too much given away (although a few more spoilery details here if you're planning on going in completely blind).
The various riffs they've been doing on the Avengers theme are great, such a great piece of music.
There's a new marketing thing up with the survivors in colour and the deceased in black and white.
Now, I'm no Avengers geek (although I am a geek) and I had to look up who Happy Hogan is (who survived). It turns out he's Tony Starks chauffeur, so why does he survive? What part does he have to play?
So of course I looked it all up and it turns out that Happy Hogan is the father of Teen Abomination who has lived in Tony Starks base in secret since the Marvel Universe pretty much started. Uncontrollable, and both a baddie and a goodie (he's fought Hawkeye and Black Widow and the Hulk and also fought for them too) , could Teen Abomination be the blindside that we don't expect because we all expect Captain Marvel to zoom in and fix everything?
I've genuinely no idea but thought I might get more insight on here than I would do in my local pub.
I just want to see Thor and Captain Marvel together.
Interesting but doubtful. It’s just too late in the storyline to introduce a relatively obscure character and have them save the day.
Happy Hogan's job is to try and bone Aunt May (according to the latest Spider-Man trailer).
Happy Hogan is played by Jon Favreau, who directed the first 2 Iron Man movies and pushed for casting RDJ as Stark, against heavy resistance from the studio.
He's basically responsible for the MCU starting off as well as it did and everything that came after, respect Happy
He's also directing the new Star Wars tv series, The Mandalorian.
You’re all forgetting his best work - Elf.
Or this masterpiece of cringe

Did Black Widow have a tattoo on her shoulder? 27 seconds in
Also I think that was Cap, Iron Man and Thor.
Ah ok it was the cape that threw me but of course Thor has a cape
Marketing is so different now. Inclusive.
PSA: Massive leak from a pre-screener now floating about, about 5 mins worth of footage from several key scenes apparently, so be careful online if you're trying to go in unsullied.
twitter has released its avengers emojis
Thanos loses. Pretty obvious ending
