Blagsta the truth is that a lot of people on urban75 who think of themselves as left wing are hostile to the idea of socialism. They are as hostile to the idea of ordinary people in control as the Tories are.
Look at Groucho...He belongs to a party called the Socialist Workers Party...They used to say they believed in Socialism from Below its a nonsense but they are the easy target aernt they.
But the truth is that a lot of people believe in basically the same nonsense Socialism from above for the clever people. And thats what you seem to believe in.
Liberals on Urban love the idea of being nice and democratic etc etc they want to think of themselves as GOOD PEOPLE but they sure as hell dont think that ordinary people should be trusted on crime,immigration or public spending..
