Maybe I like the misery
is that an actual genre?
is that an actual genre?
'technical death metal' is certainly a genre. the epic addition is probably a step too far, but i can already imagine the album cover...
cheers, looking up metal on wikipedia is much more riveting than listening to it

looks about right. could probably do with a dragon or two though? This lot go for this:

This is probably true. It's the sheer earnestness of the whole thing that makes it entertaining isn't it?
they don't all take themselves so seriously
this is interesting:

Had an Autechre mix taped off the John Peel show that was the bollox - definitely be digitalising that one when i get round to doing the rest of my tapes. Preferred their dj set to a whole album of theirs, which is a bit too hard work for me.
EDIT: The Peel mix opened with this one track that had a vocal that went "welcome to techno central" - sounded like possibly 808 state on a good day - anyone know what it is?
nexus 21 did a version/cover/vocalsample of techno city - i reckon it's that.
by the way, the new album is out digitally now. still waiting to finish downloading it.
and they have another 12 hour radio show coming up on tuesday 2nd march at 6pm.
though i'm sure it will be downloadable soon after.
