I've not heard that. Sounds :D

They're certainly not world-shaking, but I have this weakness for throwaway poppy punk stuff... :o

AC/DC my favourite rock band of all time.
YouAMI are very good.
Hoodoo Gurus...have their moments
Midnight Oil...have their moments.
The 'gurge (as mentioned previously...I have a remix of them doing the are you being served theme tune...WTF - although money by pink floyd is also a remix of are you being served just in 7/8 great julian cope quote)
Ben Lee who wrote the best track on Dandos last lp

Nearly forgot...the angels (angel city in this country...) brilliant band long since defunkt...recommend anyone who likes ac/dc but with a more wired new wavey lead singer to check em out.

I used to love the Angels, esp. their track "Am I Ever Gonna See Your Face Again?"

yep its fookin great, off face to face, their first lp. I have some old aussie mates that were astonished one morning still up after the night before when i dragged out 4 Angels lps...I dont think I have ever met another brit who has even heard them

Loved Regurgitor and Spiderbait.

Try - Custurd, Kim Salmon and the Surrealists, The Hippos and of course
You Am I.

Almost forgot Skunk Hour.

The Living End & Spiderbait are always good live, I don't listen to them outside of seeing them live, I don't even like them much when I hear them on the radio and that.
Same goes for Machine Gun Fellatio & Wolfmother (even though they pretend not to be Australian)

I'll 3rd Dirty 3, Nick Cave goes without saying, and a biggup for 'To Look At You', a really good early INXS track.

If AC/DC, Bee Gees? Or is that distasteful?
