I phoned the customer services team and they need the mentioned identfication with all new accounts, its apparently there new policy

I would actually class this as a plus point. They are taking security (yours and theirs) seriously.

I've been using ebuyer for over a year with no probs. They seem to have really good deals on blank disks and small peripherals - much cheaper than high street.

lobster, could you keep us updated on how good a player it is? I'm thinking of getting the iAudio x5L 30Gb, but I'm not 100% certain yet. I'm constantly tempted to just go for an ipod, but it hasn't got a radio, battery life isn't as good, and I have too many wma and ogg files off mates.

I have an X5L 30GB and its a brilliant player. Battery lasts well, sounds great, I find it very easy to use, personally I prefer drag and drop to itunes and that sort of thing. I bought it from advancedmp3players and the service was fine, I had it delivered the next day I think.

The X5L also has a voice recorder, radio, line in/out and all sorts.
