ATP World Tour Finals

A good effort towards the end, but Rafa seems to have lost a hell of a lot of self-confidence in his play :(

He's no longer the cocky teenager that gave pro's the runaround, and blasts them off the court. He needs to take a break this December and re-tune himself mentally and come back a better player.

His knees are fucked and he's lost shitloads of weight in sheer muscle thru lack of training. I think, sadly, he peaked a couple of years ago.

Tis a true shame, his rivalry with federer was fucking awesome. The most charismatic player on the tour by a stretch.

Not necessarily the whole story, the whole knee's are gone, losing weight thing was a cover for something else apparently.

Had a complete mental breakdown from family shit, and couldn't function or train properly are the rumours. :(

I think Nadal could actually play a blinder and do me out of a considerable sum of money by beating Djokovic, now the pressure is off like.

He certainly seems to be a crowd favourite, so the atmosphere should be pretty good.

While you are there, check out the top tier of that o2 arena. It's so steep it will give you vertigo, I know it made me dizzy. :D

I really wish they'd made these final's five setter's. Could easily have been done with two matches a day, and some of the encounters could have been epic. :(

It was, will still be, but will inevitably be constantly challenged.

Love Federer but Rafa has the work ethic to rebound from any temporary setbacks.

Also this,

I hope not, don't want to lose more money after last night.

He's been acting like a particularly moody git today though, even by his standards. :D

I feel your pain, I placed the bet on Rafa twice last night by accident.

Didn't realise til I got a nasty shock when I checked my betfair balance this morning. :(

good to see murray show his british bulldog spirit/typical murray, fucking scottish bottler*

More a case of Verdasco bottling it in the end. I'm not complaining.

Murray looks as cheerful as ever. :D

Big money on Federer tonight, he'll want to avenge that US Open defeat by Del Potro and do it in style.

He looks knackered, tbh. Most of his shots are letting him down...in fact most of them look a bit tired.

1st set Del Potro

I may be mad, but I've just put even more money on Federer now his price has drifted to help me recoup some of my losses from this tournament so far :D

Chasing losses is for mugs I know.

Hmm. dunno about that one drew... fed's looking outclassed, outmuscled..

best of luck tho! i had a few on him to win 2-0. I give up on tennis. I'm sticking to chinese women's basketball and 2nd division russian ice hockey. Seems to be my main source of income...

Part of me's thinking that maybe Fed would be happier about the thought of luring Del Potro into a false sense of security and giving him an easy win. That way he'd potentially meet him again in the final, rather than a fired-up vengeful Murray with a home crowd behind him.

A tactical loss maybe ?

How dodgy does Carlito look there in the box with that fucking cunt Tia Toobachariainsnnssan or whatever the little agent prick's name is? Yuck. Two fucking grotty people.
