More bass, vicar?
Not sure which I prefer – the first will have a more varied line-up and already has DEVO…! But the second has FOUR quality acts already though I’m not sure about a total indie-rock fest these days … hmmm ….

I like the first one. Holy Fuck i love, but the modern Breeders and Throwing Muses stuff leaves me cold. And I've never seen Devo. And Sleep are ace, imagine doing a fat line of good ket and then listening to Dopesmoker live. Let's go to the first one dude.

Yeah, reckon you're right ... especially as a Devo live show is about FORTY SQUID these days...! Though to be fair they've still got it live

Just gotta find the money and the people to go with now! :hmm::rolleyes:

Gonna go to both :) If they pull off the bands they want to get it's going to blow every other ATP out the water....cough....PWEI.....cough

As mentioned elsewhere The Jesus Lizard now added to weekend 1, whilst ATP have this to say on weekend 2:

The line up today expands to include legendary post-punk band GANG OF FOUR and the always incredible Steve Albini-led SHELLAC will celebrate their 78th appearance at ATP by performing as our ‘house band’.

:D

As ever a combination of both weekends would be MIND-BLOWINGLY good, as it stands currently they're both just mind-pleasingly good ... :hmm:

The addition of Gang of Four and Shellac does make it look a lot more promising than it did. Not that I don't like t'other bands on that bill but they didn't quite have the gravitas needed to make me pay for another festie!

ATP is worth the entrance fee just to watch Shellac fans in their swimming shorts going down flumes shouting Weeeeeeee!

I was deffo up for the Breeders weekend on first listing, but with the Jesus Lizard G04 & Shellac additions........

bloody hell, i should read the e-mails more closely! i just assumed that the fans always vote for shellac to play.

Shellac is returning to play for ATP yet again (jesus) as an obligatory “Legacy” act.
