ATOMIC SUPLEX record launch December 7th

Indeed I did, and then you bought me a drink for buying the record, which cost about the same as the record! :D

I could end up quids in, here!

Was there an award?

I'm not sure there is any sort of quote we could nick from that review.
I like this:
"Atomic Suplex dispense with the formalities (read: the tune) altogether, preferring to unleash one and a half minutes of pure offensive distortion"

also i like that we beat PJ Harvey and Ian Brown and Black Lips to the top spot.

Yes don't forget it's free. Plus the venue has had some rave reviews.

"An absolute kip of a place. Do not go to this "club".

"An absolute waste of time entering this place! Dirty, filthy club with no atmosphere whatsover. Mind you, there's no room for any people in the place, it's so small. It's a dimly lit with single light bulbs, looks more like a knocking shop than a club. Poor quality music, didn't want to buy a drink cos if the clubs so dirty god only knows what the drinks would be like!"

"How this place can be called a bar/club at all is beyond me! Disgusting! "

I think I'd quite like to start a monthy rock and roll dive there.

Sounds fucking brilliant!
Good to see you there.

I fucked up and stayed to late. I am now at my work in waterloo because there seems to be no easy way home. I'll grab a train when they start up.

Cunting hell.

. . and I broke my guitar.

Sorry I couldn't be there, but hope it all went okay, and that you got home safely.

For future reference, trains run all night from London Victoria to East Croydon. After 1am, they are hourly, on the hour. There are also night buses, but that might be a bit more difficult to work out, because some of them mean you need to change.

Breaking your guitar at a gig, is definitely rock and roll! :)

Thanks, I got a train from Blackfrairs at 3am so it wasn't too bad. The sad thing about the guitar is that nobody really saw the bit that broke so it wasn't all that cool. I hope I can fix it. I have to buy a couple of new parts.

My wife tells me there is a nightbus from Waterloo to Croydon. Bah, I was just there.

Sorry to beeboo for getting my biddybees mixed up. I'm not very good at conversation am I?

Biddybee - where are our kitchen tools?

That was a very amusing conversation - bad enough trying to shout over the band, then wondering why you were asking me whether I had a whisk for you :D

Sorry we arrived too late to hear you play :(

:D I'm not even sure if I heard you! :o

I gave up even trying to make conversation with anyone after about five minutes, unless accompanied with really elaborate mime.
