it's quite funny however that, no offence, he was aiming for man utd or arsenal and he ended up going to villa. Hopefully for you that has dented his ego a bit and he'll get his head down.
oh, and I've also heard that ashley young refused to sign for us in january because he didn't want to be in the same team as him. Could be interesting.

Koumas - Not good enough. Blew his Premiership chance years ago.
Kewell - Too injury prone. Not even half the player he once was at Leeds.
Sneijer - A top, top player. He would boost our team immeasurably with his vision and skill and would be a hero to the fans for years. Unfortunately, we are not in the position to sign him though, as he will go to a team playing in Europe.
Bellamy - Could be the mean bastard up front that we've been crying out for, but the problem with Bellamy is that he'll unsettle most of the squad and he has huge discipline problems. Like aylee said above, his pace is his main attribute, but that will fade soon to leave nothing much else. No thanks.

I didn't say that NRC had a problem with young.....
anyway, it's just what I've heard. Could be complete bollocks, but it comes from a usually very reliable source. Guess you'll find out if you sign him.
