I paid £3 for a bunch yesterday. It was a big bunch though. I had a friend round and for starters I made asparagus with poached duck egg on toast. Was lush although the yolk was a bit over-cooked. For the main course i made a risotto with asparagus, fresh peas and spring onions.We get hereford/worcester-grown asparagus in brum, but tis £2.20 a bunch![]()
