Ashes 2006-2007 Adelaide

Oh ffs, but Duncan Fletcher must hnow that public opinion is against him on both the Monty question and the Geraint question.

I don't aggree with him either, but he is doing his job and backing his judgement, for which he will be judged.

Fucker.

Still, heres hoping.

Fucking Fletcher bottle job if you ask me, can't believe that this fecking feckless shite, Fletcher, is trying to prove a point rather than seriously trying to win the test and/or the series. Monty should have been there, no question.

Aus have scored a huge amount of runs at Adelaide in the last few years and have a great record there....

If the punter wins the toss we may aswell all go to bed.....

Fletcher - I normally admire a bit of loyalty in sport, unless its mis-placed. Which in this case I think it may well be.

Someone will be along in a minute to tell me to stop being a whingeing twat but i`m not exactly full of hope for this game or the series.......

C`mon England - Please

C`mon boys....

Strauss is due a big innings

Would love to have seen Monty even more with Aus hopefully batting 4th. Oh well

C`MON

Why would you pick fucken giles again or anderson when you have got two other boys raring to go and should get the chance. The pitch is as dry as a lime burners boot and will be a batsmans dream for the first 3 days anyway. The boys have just taken the field and it looks as if they have been poking McGrath and Lee with sticks:D

Cos your boy Fletcher's more bent than Hansie ;)

Here in Aus we have the pleasure of English commentators as well as our own.Johnathon Agnew,Mark Nichols and Blowers were all flabbergasted when Fred announced they were going in with the same team as Brizzy.THey haven't shut up about it either. We aussies are quite happy about it as this wicket looks so good i reckon i could eat it:D

Michael Holding appears to agree with me over the MacGill question. "If you have two outstanding spinners, you play them just like you would any other (type of) bowler". Without actually mentioning MacGill he then said that he wouldn't consider Panesar and Giles to fit that bill, but "maybe two Warnes".

Alex B suggested MacGill had to bowl 'better than Warne' to get into the Australian side, which appears to be the case. Why not simply 'better than Lee'? Still, I suppose I should be glad.

It's ssssllllooooooooooowwwwwww innit?

There's hope yet... not exactly a riot, but a few runs on the board for not very many wickets down, well batted B&C :)

Those of you not awake, try and watch KP in the highlights.

Not forgetting Woodys work, he's into the 90's.
