I would 10-2 agree with him to be honest
Just the latest load of shit tbh
nothing new to add i see
There are obviously some issues with Sanchez and other members of the squad which need to be sorted out one way or another. I think the board and supporters will forgive and forget the the CL result as this is normally the round Arsenal go out anyway. Finishing outside the top four though might be a step too far and the impact of that on members of the first team who want CL football could lead to real problems for the club and Wenger.
we will, as always, see what the standings are after 38 games.
Or after Lincoln do them on Saturday.
No i don't think that's true in the premier league any more. below are 2 links - 1 showing last years prize money and the other showing this years predicted prize money based on the new TV rights deal that started this season. Last year Arsenal claimed £100m for finishing second, this year the relegated clubs will probably get that much
Clubs are swimming in cash now so i dont think balancing the books is a big achievement any more
I have a wild hunch that Chelsea may be top of the pile
Qualifying and playing in the group stage is one thing, but if they have almost no chance of progressing in the knockout phase then Arsenal will find it increasingly difficult to keep or attract really top players with ambitions of actually winning the Champions League while Wenger is still in charge. For example, if Man City are happy to let Aguero go in the summer - the kind of player that Arsenal need and aspire to - I doubt very much they'd have any chance of getting him, even if they were prepared to meet his wages, if Wenger is still manager.
(Personally I hope Wenger does stay, as the last thing I want to see is the Gooners becoming European champions!)
I reckon he'll go when St Totteringham's Day is mathematically impossible.
I have just realised It's 19 years next week since I arrived in that London and was subject to my first "sack Wenger" tirade from a truly punchy unreasonable gooner in a pub. happy anniversary.
Fuck off, I did the same gag two posts earlier
Tend to too odds that you didn't.
Must be in line for the PSG job?
Speaking as a non-gooner surely it's time to back Wenger.
speaking as a spurs fan I think he's improving like a fine wine
As a neutral I have the upmost respect for Wenger, unlike Fergie or the whingy one.
If I were a gooner, at the very least I would let him see out his contract which is only a few games away.
As for succesful, is it measured soley in points and prizes these days or is money and income the major factor?
There's no point in not renewing his contract without a decent replacement in hand.
No change for change sake, but if there's no decent replacement at hand...........start looking.
I hear Steve McLaren is available
speaking as a gooner all we hear from spurs fans, pipped at the post again, is whine at the end of the season. how long since you finished above us? 22, 23 years?
im not fussed...thats why i find the cry baby antics as seen on arsenal fan tv so funny
wouldn't know, i never watch it
you dont need to watch it...on a quiet night you can hear the moaning droning across the thames valley
the moaning droning is the spurs fans phoning
spurs managers wenger's outlasted
my favourite was christian gross and his ticket of dreams
what Arsenal once had.......
and yer man, wengee run ting den......
I know you've got a godfather whisper going on, but I think rubbing him out might be a step too far
