yeh but none of the people i've spoken to at man city this morning have suggested they're prepared to employ him.

Couldn't all you Arsenal fans and the players just hide round the corner when Wenger comes to work? He'll soon get the message - maybe in about 22 years?

In a way Wenger has united Arsenal fans: every Gooner I know thinks he's long outlived his usefulness, and needs to go, for the good of the club. It will be so sad - considering his absolutely huge contribution to both the Club, and to British football, but sentiment is also finite, and letting him stay on is doing huge damage to this club, and this team.
For the love of God, man, GO!

it's not really that, either, I used to live at the Duckett's Common end, and there were certainly as many Arsenal fans as Spurs ones around the joint.

I'd imagine most fans agree he has to go, but the end of the season is soon enough. No point whatsoever asking him to go now.

Yep, sacking him at any point over the next 2 months will have no bearing on their league position. But, presumably, the only way he even has the choice of staying as manager is if they win the Europa League. Even reaching the final won't/shouldn't save him. But he deserves a good send off. As a Man Utd fan, I always quite liked him in those years when we were title rivals, but he hasn't got much dignity left now. :(

agree with this post entirely, and in retrospect I see I should have stated that I, too, meant at the end of the season.
e2a : it would serve no purpose to do it at this stage

do you remember that film all of Zidane shot from 12 camera angles throughout one football game? Id like to watch that of Wenger during that Brighton game......the humanity!!

Tonight? I mean, we have to start winning again sooner or later and it would be fairly typical if we beat AC after losing to Brighton, so...1-2.
