Predictions for today #afc fans?
Not a lot of style, but shit loads of character and battle hunger - and that's been their big failing, over the past couple of years
A nice brace from Lacazette, but they didn't dominate the game, and WBA could easily have had a pen. A nervy win, hope it builds confidence.
Arsenal news: Santi Cazorla injury return after Christmas, says Arsene Wenger | Metro News
We really need Santi back.
Decent win against WBA, but we were really shaky for much of the first half.
Yes, they should have had a penalty, but we should have had two, and Dawson should have been off.
I really do have a lot of sympathy for refs when it comes to playing advantage. It's just one of those calls that you can never, ever get right. You'll always be crucified
Kroenke trying to buy out Usmanov - think this should be the other way round
Stan Kroenke makes £525m offer to buy Alisher Usmanov’s Arsenal shares
Scrappy, nothing much game in Belgrade. Weirdest team selection I have seen in a long, long time. Plus, sadly, with every game he gets, Theo seems nowadays to justify Wenger's lack of faith in him.
On the plus side, Jack looks like he's on his way back to his best, magical goal from the most admirable squad player we have and 3 points away are good enough reasons to celebrate.
No wonder this lot so often get thumped by top sides though
Just noticed the BBC noticing this wikipedia edit lol.
Reindeer Cup draw -
Chelsea v Bournemouth
Arsenal v West Ham
Leicester v Manchester City
Bristol City v Manchester United
I suppose Bristol will be hoping for City in the Semis.
OK, good from the Swansea game:their resilience and capacity to fight back from behind.
Bad: just about everything else. We fluked a scrappy win against a team above the relegation slots on goal difference. Against a better team we would get murdered.
In fact, we did. They were called Liverpool
i see the spurs are whining again
Arsenal fans on anti Mugabe demonstration
Thank fuck for that. Apart from beating the spuds there is not much left to the season.
Apart from the next six months
Just came to post this
Order is restored to the universe.
1 Man City 12 33 34
2 Man Utd 13 22 29
3 Chelsea 13 13 26
4 Arsenal 13 7 25
5 Tottenham 13 11 24
The under 18s done the spuds 6-0 too.
Not till city, chelsea and spurs return to their mid-table homes
That was definitely a penalty, for all Burnley may feel hard done by.
The only person they should have a go at is Tarkowski, for being daft enough to do a two handed shove right under the referees nose
Settling for fourth... again
from fifth to seventh, the tottenham quest for mid-table's on track
Moving on up. Not going to win but must put a boost to the team before the Manu game. Four points ahead of the spuds too.
God, Ozil was phenomenal last night. He made every other player in the league look like a Carthorse.
All of which does tend to beg the question: why can't he do that more often, and especially against the biggest teams?
It was a comment on the relative Arsenal position compared to Spurs actually.
Sorry I can't replicate but Spurs would be off a screenshot of the top 5 right now.
if you took a screenshot of mid-table they'd be there
True - but I'm too busy to scroll that far.
Because he's not usually playing for a transfer in the Jan transfer window
