Arsenal fans

They'd been labouring under Henry, the evidence bears this out.

Ah, its always the same posters just looking to take shots at my posts, anyway, i know it seemed like he had to leave, but they definately lacked his type of quality in the end of the season. That's not disregarding chelseas/utds work like you said it was(dunno why you felt the need to say that was what i was thinking), thats just saying they missed his sort of quality and haven't been able to replace that talent.

Nothing personal, Trippy. Merely an opinion backed up by evidence, instead of a statement made up pure conjecture.;)

Well it is when you say that you're "sure if they had henry last season they wouldn't have fucked up and instead won the title".

Given that Utd won the title and Chelsea pushed them all the way to the last day, it seems a little harsh on the clubs.

Thing is, the bar had been raised by Chelsea, and has now been raised further by Utd.

It's up to Arsenal to react. There's no point crying about the Henry of 4 years ago.

Oh im not crying as i couldn't careless really. I just have a lot of respect for his talent when used correctly.

i reckon arse would have been a lot lot closer if van persie had been fit. Was expecting big things from him last season.

I think it was Gallas crying like a baby against birmingham that let Arsenal down, definatly not the sort of thing you expect from any captain.

That match really fucked Arsenal's season up - they lost Eduardo, then lost 2 points at the end by giving away a stupid pen, then Gallas lost it, then Wenger also lost it when he over-reacted about Martin Taylor after the match. After that, apart from a great performance against the pensioners of Milan, it was downhill all the way. What a shame :D

Wenger reminds me of my somewhat misled ex-boss. I (and other colleagues) would be living it up in business class on flights while she would be slumming it back in economy coz she disagreed with the cost of business... I agree it's overpriced but fuck, someone else is paying, whats the problem?

Wenger is similarly shootin him and his club in the foot. If he lets Hleb go, he should go himself. Fergie is hopefully monitoring the situation.

It wasnt a penalty. Not that I'm complaining, shit happens.

Do you think that's the problem? Arsenal and Wenger are as good as they ever were but the teams they're competing against have gone interstellar cash wise?

Arsenal have won the title with 83 points in the past.

(just to underline your very valid point)

Insania levels of prowess in front of goal, I constantly mooted him for a trial on the Orient messageboards to no avail, more's the pity.
