ARGH! Im Playing in front of real people

and make sure you curl a hefty turd at least two hours before showtime.

Haha

I did need a poo all night actually :D

Ok so it went well. The owner came over the second we had finished and told us we were excelent. The bar went dead quiet with in a few lines of the first song.

We ended up playing 7 songs (all of our stuff) instead of 3. Was bloody intense though. I had difficulty in playing due to my hand trembling but I dont think anyone noticed.

We have been asked back and its a free bar if you preform. Going to return in a couple of weeks to do some more.

Got to do it all again in a couple of days but to a much larger crowd that will include many of my friends.

Suck it in big guy :D:eek:

(Oh lady luck)
I have an absess in my gob.
I have been given uber strong pain relief.
I dont know where I am half the time.
Should help with the nerves, not sure about my playing though.

IIRC there are several Urbanites living (in or around) Melbourne!

Good luck, BTW! :)

Well just in case (and I hope I dont get struck off for BSP. Its at the Cornish Arms Hotel at 4pm this afternoon! ARGH

2 hours and counting.

:D

Ok,
So we did it
It was indearingly shambolic but the friends got us through.
Twas an inlightening experience and one that will probibly never be lived again.

Big loves to all :D:D:D

Well
I got a bit tipsy before hand which worked wonders.
The first 2 songs went well. After that it was plane sailing (as I thought) I then cocked up the third song several times including actually having to stop and find where I was. Nobody seemed to notice accept the singer but she was very nervous too.
Lots of friends there cheering on
A very positive experience really.
I'm dead chuffed
Want to do it again now.
