yes, that's what I've done. Most evenings the patio door is open so the cat can come to and fro, so a cardie is mandatory.

not on yet... got a thing about putting the heating on - always feel I should just put a jumper on... but I'm currently in bed wearing several jumpers and I'm bloody freezing still - so I may have to give in.... @ self!

Have it on before I wake up in the morning and for a little while before bed but otherwise not as much as I used to... which is pretty good..

Loft Insulation has made such a difference....

Poor actually. British Gas are trying to charge me £15 for about 6 weeks of heating over the summer. Exactly when I didn't use heating (having a chronic illness that means I get hot too easily) so I'm too scared to touch the thing.

Oh and I'm not cold. Just the bathroom.

Ive got a quarterly bill of hot water alone for gas of 21 quid its not bad considering prices have gone up. Last year it was 10

Next bill should look up though as we've moved from british gas and the last metre reading was wrong so our new duel fuel wont charge us for a while. So that's ok. Be prepared for threads about algae growing on windows though.

So happy to be living in Southern California....I've never turned my heater on. Don't even know if it works???

However today we are having severe Santa Ana conditions....dry hot winds and fires inland that are really nasty. 84 F currently at the beach with no cooling sea breezes
