Are you coming to Strawberry Fair? Urban75 Year 4 : Saturday 4 June 2005, Cambridge, FREE!

i might be there... last train home is at only 8pm though :(

I've got the same problem. :(

Tbh I'm tempted just to take a tent and find somewhere to pitch it. I want somewhere to crash, although being far too spannered to sleep sounds like a good option too. There were flyers for various all-nighters being handed out last year.

We could just get completely battered and stay up all night?

'Every time you...' ;) :D :D

It'd be nice to meet you mate. :)

Besides, I'm up for getting hammered and staying up all night if other people are. I doubt the esteemed Mr Longdog will take much persuading either. He managed pretty well last year! :D :D

Perhaps my memory's playing tricks on me (which is more than possible). :D

Shame about the last train time though. Are you sure about that Baldrick?

actually it's my memory that's up the spout....Fruitloop mentioning the bus has just reminded me that the only walks i've had to do to the site are from foo's house, not from the train station.... :o

I shall be there!
Like the last 23 years of my life...

might even see if i can borrow the old mans house boat to use as a base... might be dreaming though....
:D

As long as people are coming to have fun and not sneer at our burberry wearing capped youth then it will be good to see people :)

Dance Tent is definite this year, bonus cos it was all getting a bit out of hand with the dance area taking over, the ethos of SF being lost and the whole event being in danger of not happening at all if things carried on the way they were

Council put on buses from the station for the event so you'll have no problems getting from the station to the fair.

Here are the train times depart King's Cross

1114-1230
1119-1237
1120-1252
1130-1257
1144-1301

And departing Cambridge

2234-2359
2305-0028
2311-0111

Oh and....

...I'm sorry to hear that Hollis. :(

(((((((((((((Hollis)))))))))))))

My son has an enormous collection of tube/train/bus maps and has been able to tell you the quickest possible route on every possible journey on the tube (or indeed, longer alternatives if you have the time and/or inclination :D ) since the age of four. :( ;) :(

Can you camp there then???? I didn't know that........ :)

You're not supposed to camp on the common but last year people certainly were, although not many.

Probably best to ask one of the locals.

Well I don't think I'll be in attendance due to financial restraints. I've already planned out my summer spends and I can't (or at least don't want to) try to spread the money to thinly.

I can't afford to put the doggy into kennels for the weekend, I'm not taking him with me on such crowded trains and to go there and back in a day would leave me with seven hours train time for the sake of a few hours at the fair.

:(

Oh well, next year perhaps.
