Are you any good with tools?

I just can't do it - I haven't got the gene or something. I like the idea of doing stuff myself, or taking on a pratical project but it always, always ends up looking absolute shite and causing me so much frustration that I rue the day I ever started. I come from a family of Brickies and plumbers too so its even more embarassing.

I'm quite good at gardening though - that uses tools. And Pub Quizes.

I can do things if I have to, but I just don't enjoy it. Luckily my bruv does enjoy it and likes doing things for me so it works out quite well

Furniture assembling - really enjoy it
Putting up shelves - check
Using jigsaw cutter - check
painting - check
wallpapering - check
very basic plumbing (i.e. if there a leak under the sink/plumbing washing machine/minor problems with cistern) - check
changing light switches/fuses - check

would like to do tiling, but so far I've paid someone else to do it as I didn't want to risk doing a bad job.

The rest I pay the professionals to do.
