8 quid for a burger!

I might spend 8 quid on a burger (veggie, obviously) if I was going out for a pub lunch at the weekend, but not during the week. It'd bankrupt me...

I know, it is a rare treat that I get a pub lunch these days.

£8 burger
£3.30 per pint

Lunch can cost £14.60 for a meal and two drinks

Just ate my first sarnie made with breadmaker brown bread. Fucking gorgeous. Mmm nom. Mind you, there were a few teething problems; trying to cut it while still soft (and cutting the hard crusty end off first) meant that I ended up with about six massive slices. Still, it's a learning experience.

Tesco offer the option of no bags on the delivery. I try to tick this box if both me and the wife or just me, are there to take delivery but getting a monthly shop in the door and up the stairs is hard work!

In that case I may try Tesco (we're on the ground floor!) and email Sainsburys to say we're not considering using them again unless they sort out the bag scenario.

Anyone else started to get over excited when bargain hunting?

Today I saw Heinz Squeezy Tomato Ketchup (342g) for 50p a time. As I get through a LOT of ketchup I found myself thinking should I stock up and get ten bottles? which would have been a fiver's worth of Tommy Sauce in one hit.

still like the same products i always like and buying them. but defnitely also looking out for bargains. i think tesco shopping is daylight robbery atm they don't even have many offers on at all.

also the prices for a cappuciono in the westend....last week i paid a wooping 2.95!!! for one. i think that is crazy!

Let me get this right... you're complaining about the price of cappuccinos in the West End.....

Isn't that a bit like moaning about the price of caviar in Harrods??!!
