I would like to think I'm a cat, but thinking about it I reckon I may well be a rabbit - quite cute, absolutely thick as pigshit, easily startled, liable to chew through electrical cables if left unattended.

i read this and its sequel, "lair", when i was ten. fantastic books that you really can judge by the cover.

did they not end up in a nuke bunker hiding from the rats :D

he did not one i remember reading as a kid because my mother had his books

somethng about an evil nun from the past coming back to take over the world

was a fun book if i remember

James Herbert is a real guilty pleasure of mine.
He's often cheesy shit* but I love it :D

*not The Fog though. That was basically what 28 Days Later must have been based on
Did anyone ever watch I Am Not An Animal? You know how some stupid jokes really stick in your head, the horse played by Steve Coogan that was convinced he was like a literary intellectual because he'd read the Fog by James Herbert does that to me, like I will always hear "The Fog by James Herbert" in Steve Coogan's voice. Quite appropriate for this thread, really.

Yep. I read my older brother's copy of The Fog when I was in primary school. Not something I'd recommend doing. Have enjoyed other books by him as an adult though.
