Are we jamming?

nipsla, don't know the exact route, but get on the A3 til Esher, then job done... best to go through Clapham.

from experience of doing this on a Sunday, I would definitely say the earlier the better!

there is a slight possibility I'll be able to borrow the in-law's car on Sunday which has a sat nav and also no rental charge (other than going round to water their plants the following week whilst they're on hols). If it turns out to be a goer, I can cancel the Streetcar.

Brilliant! Thank you so much for soritng this out, gg and nipsla.

And all the best to you, han, and to your dad. x

We could have an early shift and a later shift ;) :D

There's a great farm shop there that I could spend hours in! (only window shopping, but still :o)

Non-jam (or jar) cheeky ask...

...have any of you crafty knitting lasses got a 4.5mm circular needle, or a set of dpn's, that I could borrow for a couple of weeks, from Saturday?

On a roll with the christmas presents until tonight... can't cast on my brothers hat :(

Hope yr dad is back on fine walking-form soon Han xx

Brilliant car driving ladies for sorting this; will be outside Currys at 10:20 :)

Pretty sure I have some 4.5mm needles for you B...

Heh, cheers B, I wasn't sure where Curry's is either! Will be there at 10.20 on Sunday morning. Nipsla - I'll bring that cardi.

Bee - I might have that circular needle as it goes. Will check.

Do we definitely have enough people to warrant two cars and is everyone ok with splitting the costs?

I keep seeing really nice courgette recipes and would like to get some other veg too whilst we're there!

Cheers.

Yep, happy to split the costs... our jam always works out pretty cheap once we've divvied up the costs - so it's worth it.

I'm definitely picking some veg too, to use in next week's meals :)

I have no plans to get sugar - Ruby - you could get it, but if you don't, we can stop on the way back from the farm and pick some up then. :)

I know fruit... but wasn't sure which fruit :D

Just raspberries? There are apples and blackberries as well.

e2a: I'm not really that bothered, just curious :D

Yeah - I'm just being sarky...

just spotted this and thought of you...

"Garsons farm shop has been judged the best cheese retailer across the whole South of England."

Not sure who judged that... it's nothing like the cheese counter at that place in Kent :o

Tis quite a nice farm shop though :)

blimey - there's no pleasing some people eh.... at least you can bloody eat them all!

I can see that Sunday is going to be an expensive day for me (all in the name of healthy eating of course!!).... :D

thanx for the good wishes everyone. My dad is recovering well from the op :)
Have a great pick-a-thon and jam sesh :)
