Good times for a change
See, the luck I've had
Can make a good man
Turn bad

So please please please
Let me, let me, let me
Let me get what I want
This time

Haven't had a dream in a long time
See, the life I've had
Can make a good man bad

So for once in my life
Let me get what I want
Lord knows, it would be the first time
Lord knows, it would be the first time

:( :( :(

theres a nazi biker rally where you want to go
you might meet someone, who really loves you
so you go and stand on your own
and you leave on your own
and you go home
and you cry and you want to die :(

You have never been in love,
Until you've seen the stars,
reflect in the resevoirs

And you have never been in love,
Until you've seen the dawn rise,
behind the home for the blind

We are the pretty petty thieves,
And you're standing on our street..

...where Hector was the first of the gang
with a gun in his hand
and the first to do time
the first of the gang to die. Oh my.
Hector was the first of the gang
with a gun in his hand
and the first to do time
the first of the gang to die. Oh my.

You have never been in love,
Until you've seen the sunlight thrown
over smashed human bones

We are the pretty petty thieves,
And you're standing on our street..

...where Hector was the first of the gang
with a gun in his hand
and the first to do time
the first of the gang to die. Such a silly boy.
Hector was the first of the gang
with a gun in his hand
and a bullet in his gullet
and the first last lad to go under the sod.

And he stole from the rich and the poor
and the not-very-rich and the very poor
and he stole all hearts away
he stole all hearts away
he stole all hearts away
he stole all hearts away

Morrissey = ace

Using this thread to just post up song lyrics = pants

Tobyjug - I'm sure if there were FOUR AND A HALF THOUSAND PEOPLE at that rally, you could have left without many people noticing.. and those that did probably wouldn't have given a shit anyway.

Or you could have done it in the dead of night, if it were really that scary

The ineptness is offensive. The heavy handedness is offensive. Is the question 'Is morrissey racist' then no i don't beleive he is - , though his ineptness (see above) in these areas led me and many others to think that he was for a few years.

Not me - I always had faith in him. :)

It has nothing to do with Morissey lyrics, which is the topic of this thread,

No the thread is asking if the lyrics are offensive , tobyjug said they weren't as offensive as the rascit lyrics he posted and everybody decided to have a go at him . He isn't making himself centre of attention here it's all the people who clearly think it's funny to mock him and dismiss anything he says to justify himself as bullshit that have made him the centre of attention . I'd be interested to know just how many people critiscing Toby have actually had any involvement in biker gangs or know any memebrs of gangs because some of them can be really nasty bastards who you wouldn't want to get on the wrong side of so maybe Tobys concerns were justified but obviously no-one would be willing to accept .

Well you buy a ticket for it this year and try getting off of the site for real instead of from an armchair in front of your PC. There was no way I was going to risk my wife's life.

i don't have a hog, toby :(

and aren't you sitting in front of your pc

Another quality comic strip from 'My wife and I' inc  :D

Ask yourself...

What Difference Does It Make :D

I can remember this Morissey debate the first time round, instigated by the NME, what really pissed me off is that at the same time Primal Scream had an album out with a confederate flag on its front cover and not a peep was said.

They should have pulled Morissey up/given him a chance to defende his lyrics as they are ambiguous/clumsy/racist - take you pick, but don't single one person out.

I'm shocked you thought that at one time about Morrisey. Was it after he appeared on stage with a union flag in Finsbury Park (I think)?

I think Morrissey's funny (shamefully I never realised they were Morrissey lyrics). The quote Ninjaboy used before is hilarious, I have never found him all that depressing. Satirical yes :)

My only weakness is a list of crime
My only weakness is ... well, never mind, never mind

:D

'Those people are trying to leave early. Let's kill them!'

Is there a roaming mob around here who chase Tobyjug with pitchforks and burning torches? He may be a miserable right wing sod at times but as far as this thread goes he hasn't actually contributed anything that's at all offensive, not as far as I can see anyway.

I love the way everyone here is so fucking brave, when they are sat at home.

I doubt most of the people critiscizing you have met any proper nasty bikers in their life , obviously it may be an exageration that they would kill your wife but how people instantly know what the situation was like or how you felt it was is beyond me .

let's see if i understand your position toby

oh lookie lady wife, we've won tickets in a raffle, what jolly japes can we get up at the motorcycle rally, hitch up your skirt and get in the sidecar woman, we're off to have some fun, and many jugs of ale....

vroooooooooommmm

well here we all are at the rally, heh look, there's a band playing, let's listen to the lyrics, i must say the lyrics are well nasty, but we better stay here for 3 fucking days or people might become suspicious, so let's sit here, quaffing ales for three days with all these racist chaps, because if we don't, they'll follow us home and beat us....and then we'll have to go to the same rally every year for 20 years because they know where we live, and they will beat us on a daily basis if we don't go

actually it's got a good beat, don't you think?

get us another ale woman...

Me neither.

Quite. We were over 400 miles away from home and had no idea what sort of event it was until we had pitched the tent, had a beer/cider or three before the "entertainment" started. It would have been impossible for us to leave the site by then.

So now you say you couldn't leave this nazi rally because you were drunk?

Not because your wife was going to be offered up in some kind of Klu Klux Klan sacrificial ceremony, after all.

You really are full of shit, Tobyjug.

:D

Funny though.

Couldn't you have said that you just got a call from the babysitter and little Sissy fell and broke her arm, and you really must be going?
