Are there branches of Herbert Read outside Yorkshire?

Please do read it if it exists!

Do you really think the IWCA is putting the working class back on the agenda or just re treading the old tired route of social democracy, advocating a reformist and moribund position, smattered with a few publicity actions dressed up in addressing the issues of the 'class'. All of this to get a few people elected. I cant belive im not with the programme.

There is nothing sinister about getting people to participate in the sham democracy of britain, of excepting leaders who talk for you in council chambers, of advocating participation and inclusion in a system that stinks of corruption. I mean i cant wait for another socailist hero to patronise me and mediate my struggle. Sign me up its brilliant.

Shouldn't this be 'beam me up'?

You're becoming as obsessed by the IWCA as cockneyrebel; as I've said before, it's revealing just how often, on these boards, representatives of two obsolete ideologies link hands before walking off into the sunset.

For what it's worth, the thread in question (the 'is the FBU right to ban BNP members'? thread on General, from a week or two ago) had absolutely nothing whatsoever to do with the IWCA, nor did anybody even mention them.

Now, Herbie, shouldn't you be away somewhere peeping round corners at Eddie Morrison?

Well i didnt even post on that thread about a sinister agenda so what was all that about.

Obsolete ideolgy, pots and kettles Llesta you are advocating reformist electioneering, its more a question of the same old bun fight of the left. With the its my way or the high way attitude that was intrinsic to red action and lives on through the IWCA. I didnt realise the IWCA was so 21st century, i mean a socialist organisation based upon the marxist tradition...wow what a ground breaking formula.

If were talking obesssion you seem to devote a lot of time to me on these boards.

Now, LLetsa why dont you read some more books on class struggle at home and develop your correct analysis, fill in that direct debit and never worry about actually involving your self in any thing apart from bulletin boards.

You replied to a post referring to the 'sinister agenda' thread.

These days, being somebody who knows it all already, I seldom 'read books on class struggle at home' (that's Attica, that is.) I'd take novels any day.

I don't believe in direct debits. I'm strictly a pay-if-you've-got-it, if-not-don't-bother kinda guy me.

That you equate reading novels with Harry Potter is also telling.

Be careful not to confuse whatever you assume I do in my day-to-day life with the actions of any organisation I express support for.

I have no idea what you do in every day life, nor do i assume to know, nor do i care.

Well you're the one who's just spent time writing about it.

I, on the other hand, care deeply about what you do in your everyday life, Herbie. I am here to save you from yourself.

Isn't there sometimes a case for voluntary euthansia? Sometimes we can be too obsessed about safeguarding the vulnerable.

More sub-Attica, evidence-lite, strangely obsessed, resiliently unfunny clicks from Herbert's keyboard. The only saving grace is that he takes less time to spout the same 'it was those horrid RA boys' nonsense, than the black handed one.

Still the undiscovered genuis aren't you Herbie lad. It is a pity you aren't better known among the working class for the myriad ways in which you have fought for their freedom.

'Lad' who are you LLETSA, im not the one who pretends to be some abstract class warrior unlike you.

Sorry, I just reread your post, and you said "unlike yourself", which means your attempt at an insult was not even an insult at me at all.... :D :D :D

Class warrior? And what exactly is it that I am pretending Herbie babes?

i think you should re read your posts, at first you were an abstract loon, then the only working class in the village, now you are the pathetic side kick of LLetsa, all through this you claim to know work for and speak for the mythical working class.

Is LLETSA a working class as well? They're everywhere...

He so working class and he has correct analysis, if you dont belive in standing for local or national govt or getting involved in the local community under set conditions as dictated by the IWCA then you must be mad or worse an anarchist.

You can only have a pet if you adopt one. Ask Ryazan if he feels adopted by me. Like many great people, I can't help it if I attract disciples along the (cyber) way.

When you've been on the Zippo do you always repeat arguments you were roundly defeated in months ago, only in an even less coherent way?
