Are there any 'doggie friendly' pubs in Brixton?

The Hermit's cave at Camberwell Green and Bar Story at Peckham Rye always let my best mate's spaniel in. Then again very few people are so heartless as to refuse a spaniel entry.

The Clapham Manor Arms on Clapham Manor Street is very dog friendly. They have their own dog who is big but friendly and is almost human. When they get busy I half expect him to go behinfd the bar and pitch in.

Nice Timothy Taylor beer and good wine too.

<Plans special trip to Clapham :p >

<Plans to phone first to ask which is their No Dogs day :D so that I can put that one in the diary ... ;) >

didn't we do this thread about a year ago? :confused: i'm SURE i remember this exact thread :confused:

Nope :p 'Doggie friendly pubs in London' in the London forum.

And thanks to rubbershoes.. that thread made a dramatic improvement in my life.. now I can drink in a very nice pub with the dog, rather than going down the offie for a 4 pack.. :cool:

ah but there was one which was vaguely similar, a long time ago? that's a relief, i was beginning to think me brain was playing tricks on me :eek:

I bring my cat to the Albert. Pat only once objected when she and Billy (the pub cat) had a cat fight.
