Are quad core processors worth it?

Ha that's nothing, my PC is still goign stron after 10 years. No new cards, processors, caes, at all. Hell I've only done the most basic software maintenace on it in the last 5 years. It's the computer equivalent of a creaky biplane.

It's quite sad really I used to do lot's on my PC, but now it's only good for the internet as long as the sites aren't too showy.

I doubt Crysis supports Windows Me. Even Neverwinter Nights pushes it and Morrowind runs too slow to play.

The Computer we had before this one had twin pentium processors, that was in the days when twin processors were just not even thought about. It was a computer that was used to test software by Digital.

I like splurging on case, a £20 one will work but it doesn't look as good and it's a pain in the arse when you want to play around in there or install things. Not to mention that they're normally louder. This computer's only been around for two years, everything in it's changed except the motherboard, opticals and one of the hard drives and case. (Which had to get bits replaced and modified).
