Yeah, enjoyed that. The support act and Bad Manners seemed to be exactly the same band with different vocalists though. I completely and utterly fancied one of the singers in the support act but just about stopped short of making a tit out of myself.
saw them 20 years ago - not great - but they are a fun jump up and down pissed type of deal, buster's great and they have a decent horn section - I'm suprised they don't do more festivals they're the sort of band you can enjoy even if you don't particularly like 'em you know what I mean
Yeah we had them at the Windmill recently and putting them on again on 2nd October. Not my normal type of music but very very good at what they do. It's probably even less of our soundtech's bag and he loved them.
They also get a lot of lazy Chas n Dave comparisons too cos the singer plays keyboards but he's about 40 years younger! Good guys as well.
They play in a pub up here pretty regularly..about twice a year i think. There's a fair few fash round these parts...i ahven't managed to see them yet, but it wouldn't surprise me if most of 'em do attend.
Think Buster had a gastric band fitted...he's lost shitloads of weight! Around 15 stone i think...
