If we won at the weekend I would be pretty confident if I were a Bognor fan.

So for us, 12 points from 7 matches. Done well to get to this position with our 3 cup runs.

But beat Tooting and that's another fixture that needs to be played..

It is pretty amazing the season they've had given they lost two or three absolutely key players last summer. Take away Jason Prior and you take away 35/40 goals across the season and yet somehow they've coped. Title would be totally deserved.

    *Bribe* away Jason Prior.

The other fixture doesn't really matter...as long as we beat them. The other fixture, win or lose, is away to Cray Valley (Paper Mills). Having seen them several times this season we should beat them, even with a weaker side. For me it's about stopping the Thugs & Muggers lifting the London Senior at Champion Hill.

Obviously there's scope for all sorts of twists and turns, but as I see it the most likely scenario for ourselves is that we'll face Leiston in a play off semi between 3rd & 4th. (With Havant or Bognor hosting whoever snatches fifth place in the other semi.) That's a very long journey for someone on a Thursday night, so vital to secure third place if possible.

On recent form you have to fancy Billericay to get fifth, if only because Tonbridge and Needham Market seem to have forgotten how to win at just the wrong time.

Enfield can make themselves favourites for the last playoff place IF they can beat Billericay on Saturday.

Win & Fin on the last day of the regular season might just be a bit interesting with both of us potentially having a lot to play for.
Here's the updated position after yesterday:

"Ricay" also have the excitement of the Kevin Turvey final to deal with vs Tonbridge. I'm guessing 'Tampopo' would love a bit of silverware to put in that lovely new cabinet alongside the Under 12 trophy for girls - which was about the same size as the Stanley Cup.

So they'll have four proper games from next Saturday through to Easter Monday on 17th. Fitness didn't seem their long suit.

If Bognor lose title to Havant will it be them that are the Ryman league end of season chokers?

It seems careless to lose title two years in a row.

That would depend on whether or not they subsequently win the play-offs. They were never top last season, they were always playing catch-up with their fixture backlog and did well to get within a point of Hampton in the end.

They've done well to be top at this stage with a weaker squad than last season. Havant, with a strong squad that's been together for several seasons, ought to have more points on the board by now, while Hamlet paid for making wholesale changes in the summer and taking too long for the new team to bed down.

I've seen us branded as end-of season chokers on other forums, but we got the necessary result on the one occasion we went into the final game top, and we've never lost a play-off to someone who finished below us.

If/when we make the playoffs has there been any details released regarding dates for games and where the final will be held? Want to make sure I'm free!

Almost certainly all ticket if we finish 3rd.

Also London Senior Cup is at our place on Wednesday 3rd May.

Really? Why would that be? The Committee currently have no plans to make it all-ticket on a Thursday night...

    The demand will be there.

The easiest game to get in this season was also our biggest gate. If we know 3000 people are coming it's a lot easier than Billericay when a similar number turn up very late.

It may be...but currently it's not all ticket. That can change, if we are drawn at home, and who we know the opposition are. I'd like to think I would be involved in such decision making, and leave the running of the bar side of things to the bar staff...

No news re all ticket for a perspective play off semi/final.

The only game we would have made all ticket this year would have been a game against Tranmere (due to segregation).

Don't really think it's needed. Sure online sales would be high, but much like the Macc game, a mixture of both worked very very well.

If people turn up late then they turn up late....that is their problem. We would not make a game all-ticket just to help the 'latecomers'...I am sure an all-ticket announcement could deter some from bothering, in case they are locked out. We will, like the Macclesfield game, encourage early on-line, and early arrival.
