Apr 9th: Offline returns to the Dogstar: samba drums, go-go, punk, hip hop + craft!

Eme's still in bed with last night's make-up smudged all over her mush. I woke up too early because I'm still over-excited!

That was a fantastic night. The Actionettes were superb, Barking Bateria were blistering. I loved I Wanna Be Sedated (especially when the Actionettes joined them onstage), Milk Kan really are a fantastic band and Lady Lykez was excellent as ever and what I saw of Vic's set looked great.

A big thank to you the DJs, who played over and above the call of duty. My carefully penned DJ timetable fell apart in the first ten minutes, but everyone rallied brilliantly. At one point ianw was playing rock and roll upstairs, LDR (plus unexpected DJ twister!) were rocking the back room with the Smiths while the Revd and Bluesteak were laying down some dance grooves in the front room. Now that's what Offline is all about!

I'm knackered, but that was great fun. Thanks to everyone for coming down. Next one is on May 14th with Josie Long, Atomic Suplex and the Voodoo Trombone Quartet. Bring it on! :)

I was covering LDR's extended fag break. Loved it though. The night and the wading through mounds of country to find something that might work.

Cheers ed, well done. ;)

That's gonna REALLY stink if you spray it inside! :D:D

(Living with Graffers, they're a fucking nightmare!)

we used the smoking area out the back... :)

craft corner went really well... it was mostly boys making stuff, thats never happened before !

Cheers ed and everyone else for a wicked night!

Gutted I missed this, but did met a boy upstairs with a respectable amount of glitter all over him, who had made a sheep 'with charisma' with you lot :)

A Very Top night! :D

[paying for it mightily today]

I missed a few things due to stupid stomach pains, but once that went away I was able to appreciate how wonderful Offline was!:cool:

That was a very good night! Craft corner went well and as MDK said, it was the boys making and who seemed terribily excited at turning old socks into puppets. :D

Well that looked like it was great fun, shame im in Japan. I promice to make it back for the next one. It contains the lovely Josie Long and falls on my birthday too so Im very much looking forward to it.

Well, your lot are playing, so I hope you make it!
