Apple's Macworld Expo: MacBook Air announced

Christ, I think I may have mentioned my MBA less than a handful of times on here, if that. And the post here's about as 'gushing' as it's got.

I'll admit to feeling a little annoyed by that unprovoked load of cobblers. More than a bit wankerish and unnecessary. Unsurprising though, depressingly. This place is a pleasure

Jeesus. It was a gentle ribbing over a comment that was well worthy of a little piss take. Seems I crossed the line because it was about your precious computer.

Anyway, don't let me get in the way of your year-long, self congratulatory backslapping session, Mr Po-face.

It's only a bit of fun eh? One off's are fine and dandy, but consistently you've become an unpleasant chump. See your post above for example.
It's your response that was graceless and unpleasant, and it was you that started throwing around the insults, you hypocrite. I only responded in kind.

Anyway, fuck you and your dour, humourless uptight attitude. It's utterly pathetic how you get so ridiculously uptight over such a microscopically small and harmless joke.

*waits for King Troll KE to quickly join in. Can't miss this chance, eh?

In more interesting news apparently Apple now own roughly 50% of the global ultrabook market. Despite plenty of choice on the market the MacBook Air apparently is ruling the roost currently...

Exactly where have I been "bitching" about Steve Jobs, troll boy?

Nobody ever called me a troll before. Suspect I am balding too rapidly to be called a boy either, but you aren't to know that.

As for your question, it hardly needs answering, your track record speaks for itself. I will attempt to bite my tongue until the day Google do something really bad, at which point I shall laugh at your own anti-Jobs reality distortion field.

Apple make ultrabooks?

The macbook air is an ultrabook. Apple won't call it that because the term ultrabook is, I believe, an Intel marketing slogan, but their push in promoting this segment is generally considered to be at least in part a response to the Macbook Air.

Come on. If you're going to charge into a thread and make claims, at least have the manners to back them up.

Its pretty simple really. You had a bad-mannered pop at someone for patting themselves on the back the year after they got a deal they were happy with. I considered it worth having a dig back at you because the passing of time does not seem to temper your desire to have a dig at Apple, Jobs, or their products at nearly every opportunity.

There was nothing 'bad mannered' about my comment. Well, at least not to balanced people who can take the gentlest of ribbings.

Your comment was irrelevant and plain wrong, but well done for charging in to stir things up, even when it had fuck all to do with you.

Yes guv, it's everybody's fault apart from your own. Everyone else is unbalanced and misreads your ever so witty, gentle and not at all unnecessary and unpleasant jibes, again and again it seems.

As you were, being an unpleasant and unrepentant plonker.

Sometimes I worry that I might be a pompous, puffed up moralising tit, but thankfully I have you to put this possibility in perspective.

Exactly.

I'm finding going back to my desktop a very weird experience. It's faster in some ways; slower in others [e2a: than my SSD Pro. :ffs:].

I'm still delighted / amazed every single time Photoshop opens in under 2s :D

Which "anti-Apple" people?
What "repressed sexual desires"?
What "feelings of temptation"?

I know you can't be talking about me because I haven't said a word against Apple's products in this thread, but I do think your keenness to link a product to sexual desires is, well, more than a little bit strange.
It's cause he's an iFanboy, it's all sexual kicks.
