Apparently Genesis have reformed

Damn – I thought that fucker Collins had said he’d never tour again ‘coz he was going deaf or something!

I guess at least the fact they’re touring makes him more vulnerable to freak electrical accidents/falling equipment/rocket-propelled grenades fired from the crowd during ‘In the Air Tonight’ than if he’d just sat at home counting his money….

:D

I only read this thread to see if/what you'd posted on it Yoss...heh heh :D :p

Deja vu....https://www.theguardian.com/music/2020/mar/04/prog-rock-stars-genesis-to-announce-reunion

Still no Peter Gabriel, though will have Collins junior on drums, I believe.
Assuming they will be playing later more popular stuff I pass thanks.

Pah - without Gabriel I don't think i can be arsed to go... even Hackett in the line up would make a difference.

I saw Steve Hackett at a festival a few years ago - if you want a Gabriel-era Genesis show then that is it. Fantastic - even Mrs SFM who has banned me from playing them if she’s in the house had to admit she was impressed. Helluva guitarist

£300 +......The most I ever paid must be £50 if not as low as £30, and that included a very good night with girlfriend of the day
Just looked it up - can't believe Tom Petty and Jefferson Starship were also on the bill!!!

I took my Mrs to see them in Paris in 2007, she had always wanted to see them.
It was cheaper to fly to Paris for a weekend than the tickets for Twickenham.
It was a decent show, but in all fairness we enjoyed spending the Sunday in Montparnasse cemetery more.
I think it speaks volumes.
