Anyone want to move into our flat in October?

I hope you find someone to rent it, it looks a brilliant place, that part of it.

SAmerica for three months? Sounds exciting and also well planned out re timing. Good luck to you both :):)

the most wonderful freaky cat apron my mother once got me
Which btw, looks like this. :)

The buses are boring. When rival gangs of schoolkids come spilling out of them, shrieking and fighting all over the highstreet, or people park their car in the middle of the road in order to shout and yell at the bus driver who dared to try and pull out, then they're interesting :)

We thought about taking this place on... but couldn't because we need a garden for our kitty... It does have a really cute roof terrace for bbqs etc tho!

It's a lovely flat and really well located :)

The front room is noisy. It's a very busy road, and the windows are single glazed. You wouldn't want to sleep there, but it's not intrusive. It's nice to hear life going by outside and there's always some entertainment on offer :)
The bedroom is quiet. It's protected by the walls of the staircase/bathroom extensions for the adjoining buildings and has a modern double glazed window. You can't hear the main road at all.

i find it expensive too (seeing above shops on main road etc just one bedroom)

there are lots of 2 bedroom atm for around 850 with agencys in much nicer surroundings. rents have defn dropped recently (at least for a while). have a nice time in south america.

I wouldn't be surprised if the rent goes down too, choc. Anyone thinking about this should press the agents on the issue.

Having a great time in SA should be no problem :)

We were looking for flats in Brixton around 5/6 weeks ago at a similar price price with 1 bedroom and found it hard to find something we liked.

We've ended up moving to Camberwell because for our money we seem to get more space, a private entrance, period features and a both a private and a shared garden. We had to negotiate a rent reduction to get it into our price range tho... from 950 down to 860pcm.

Any contractual catastrophes aside, it looks like we've got it sorted now. Two urbanites are moving in :) I'll let them reveal themselves or not should they choose

Keeping it in the family. That's cute! Hope they reveal themselves

Have a fabulous time away! 3 months....fabulous. :)
