Anyone use the Lush solid shampoo?

I use the purple one in the tin, because the other ones made my hair really greasy. I use it as shower soap as well when travelling. Now they've got those wanky liquids rules for hand baggage I've tried to swap from liquids where I can

everytime i try to use the lush website in firefox, it stops working, but no probs in IE , strange :)

i bought the soak and float shampoo bar yesterday, i shall report back

i also bought a small bottle of flying fox, a shampoo bar tin, and a lip balm

and i got given a wild child gift box as a thank you from my mate for feeding her cats while she was on holiday . its got hapy hippy shower gel, whipstick lip balm, rock star soap, haagenbath ballistic and a flosty gritter bubble bar slice. and instead of shredding paper, the box is packed with popped corn :D

I feel all warm inside

I just ordered

Honey Trap lip balm - cos Lush lipbalms are the best I've ever used, in 25 years of being a lip balm addict
Happy Talk lip balm
Karma Komba shampoo bar
American Cream conditioner
Flying Fox shower gel
Sonic Death Monkey shower gel

ahhh...can't WAIT til they come!

I think Happy Talk is on the discons list too soj. I went in to sniff the new Go Green stuff on Saturday. It's lovely. Flashy wanted the spray and the new ballastic. I was tempted by the new shampoo bar but I have enough of those already.

Tanky, that snake oil bar has mixed reviews. Bit of a Marmite product. Some say it's yucky and smells of bacon and others say it's fab and smells lovely. I think I won one in a Lush raffle and have probably got it still knocking about in my stash if you want it gratis. I've not used it cos it's not for my hair type really.

Is it? Does that mean that I'll really get into it, and then I won't be able to fucking well buy it again? Like everything else I've ever liked??

I've just bought some to give it a try - any good?

I've used the "Jumping Juniper" solid shampoo for about a year. I've got a REALLY over-sensitive scalp, and the lush shampoo bar is the only stuff I've found besides T-Gel that I can use regularly without my scalp breaking out into red blotchy patches.

Yay for Lush!!

Yeah, I swear by the stuff. I usually buy the yellow conditioner one. After a while though, they become mush and you have to scrape them out of the tin, which is a bit shit.

I always pat the bar dry with a square of kitchen roll or a couple of sheets of bog roll before putting it back in the tin, et voila, no mush, just Lush! :D

Nooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!!! :(

Cherry Tree Lane is one of my favourites  I'm going to have to stock up now.

Oh yeah, re. Snake Oil - I certainly wouldn't say it's all that. It's primarily a dandruff treatment, which was why I bought it, but I found it really difficult to use and it didn't make any noticeable improvement in my scalp flakiness. If I were you Tanky, I'd spend your money on something nicer and more indulgent, which is 99% of what they sell anyway :)

I recommend the conditioners - I have long durly dry hair and they are fantastic - but at a tenner a tub and I use 1 tub per application it's a bit much - but hey - loving Lush. :D

I never use owt on that list apart from the lip balm, and I only got that cos I fancied another one that's not Honeytrap

*phew*

*comes out of hiding now it's safe*

:D

Not a clue cos I usually frequent my local shop and the only time I do mail order is for special orders like the forum perfumes and what not.

There's a new curly hair conditioner at the moment which smells so lovely I want curly hair just so I can try it.

I use one of the pre wash conditioner/hair moisturiser things but I apply it quite sparingly so I get a good few applications out of it. Mind I don't spend money on a hairdresser so I guess that makes up for it.

I'm not sure my reputation as a thug is fair

Ah well, it'll turn up soon :D

Ah for god's saaaakkkkke!

I try and order off the site, and there's no way of paying once you're on the "checkout" page - just links to go "back to basket" or "complete addresses", neither of which offer anything more useful than "return to checkout" AGAIN!

:mad::mad: ffs! :mad::mad:

Was straightforward as owt when I ordered yesterday. You did register before buying, didn't you?
yes. i tried all night, too.

btw, how do you make it give you the shampoo bar tin for free?

oh

It's usually when you buy 2 of the bars
i phoned them up - since the website crash it has a couple of gliches - it won't accept addresses with no county (ie london) or with a space between the two halves of the postcode.

she also said that the website says you're being charged for the tin, but they take it off when they process the order. so i have a box of goodies winging its way.:D

Yay

Well, we would BOTH have a box of goodies winging its way, if there wasn't a postal strike. ARRGHHHH:mad:

I got a slip through the door from DHL on Thursday, and thought 'I know, I'll pick it up Saturday morning'

Got there this morning, up early cos DHL is 30 mins drive, waiting in the queue, looked properly at the slip, and it had been left with a neighbour :o  :o

Can't WAIT to use it all! The karma komba soap is sitting by me on the table and smells fucking divine

Just wanted to resurrect this thread to recommend the Jasmine and Henna Fluff Ease - I have a lot of hair which makes its own dreadlocks most nights and grows in volume every day!!! But this lovely smelling stuff is going to prove a godsend. So if anyone has wild hair like mine, this is a good product. NOT the most expensive product on the shelf either! :D

i bought the "hard" one, which i'm pretty unimpressed by (made my hair greasy) and "ultimate shine", which I am more impressed with.

ive tried the jungle solid conditioner which i was not impressed with at all so ive decided not to go near the shampoos,i dont like to mess about with my hair because its very unforgiving :(

I've tryed the coconut one, which i love and and jungle condidtion. Which is alright when melts but it's bit too much work.

Im lovely friend has a christmas job at lush and gets  50% discount
