There's a "before close" option in the drop downs above where you copy the code in.
Each quote will still have to be "saved as" though (this for Zenie) and if people save their work or close the workbook as they're going along, (Just save, not Save As) they'll lose everything and get a newly numbered blank one back. I would have thought this far more dangerous than simply adding a number to existing quotes.
Which Sage? Proforma invoices is an alternative way of achieving the same thing. Then they get amended to full invoices if the quote is accepted, but it wouldn't be too surprising if Sage isn't available to those producing quotes. It's also a pig to design the quote/invoice template yourself.
