Anyone like reading blogs?

What's with the me getting kicked out thing? Am I doing something wrong?

1. Try to imagine what this forum would be like if every new member immediately started a new thread with a link to their own website.

2. Linking to someone else's website in the context of a discussion is an essential part of online forums. Linking to your own website in the absence of any context is considered to be spam.

3. Threads with vague titles or ones that say, "Look at this!" followed by a link just waste everyone's time. If you want to start a thread by referring to another site, do everyone the courtesy of summarising what it's about and what you think of it.

4. On the matter of courtesy, joining a new community and then disparaging one of its members on the basis of their long-standing membership is very impolite.

Jeez. I never thought it was all so deep, and sensible. I get it now. I'm leaving work now and I'll come back tomorrow. Apologies guys and gals!

nothing happans when i click the link... not exactly gonna ruin my day by the sound of the feedback, but why dont it work?

Well, I know what I want to know about blogs... and it's not to do with the program code.

Fair enough. Often when people ask me about them (those that are considering starting one) they normally ask what software is good to use...I'll try not to be so helpful in future. :p
