Anyone know about Alberts Chip Shop?

I had a kebab from Saif's last night...actually quite good, with freshly baked naan bread.
The fish and chips didn't seem that great but at least the chicken cabinet with the single light bulb has gone.

But aren't you really close to the new fish and chip operation by the Hobgoblin Rennie - it may still serve fried chicken admittedly, but it does a mean bit of cod too now? Why are you going to walk all the way to Brixton Hill?

they do fish and chips - i just ahven;t tried them ...yet

seems they do mushy peas too!

I haven't tried it yet... i told dum dum about it but he got some not-so-good fish n chips on the way home with him.

This means i've not got TWO places I need to check out. I feel bloated already!

I've been sucked in by that new place too Rennie. It's frighteningly tempting when it's that close to your local. I rate them actually - the food's always been fresh and fine when I've indulged.

My judgement may, of course, have been impaired by mucho alcohol...
