Could we not just assume identical positions only substituting eclair for sausage roll. it would save a lot of time and outrage
In fact just leave a blank space and people can fill in their own foot long foodstuff

I don't think the eclair and the sausage roll are the same. The eclair is being marketed as an alternative dessert to christmas pudding for christmas day - and its not at such a knockdown price (even 10 times the size of a normal eclair, I'm pretty sure you could buy that many eclairs for cheaper than £5).
There's nothing intrinsically wrong with a giant sausage roll either - my mam used to make them at home then serve them in slices with either beans or salad - but it was obviously being marketed as a snack for one person "the ultimate match day pie experience" rather than something to share as a main meal - and they were obviously selling it at a loss leader price (obviously i wish slightly healthier stuff was as cheap, rather than knocking anyone's source of cheap food).
