Anyone got a steam cleaner?

I was watching some nutter on QVC advertising these last night! The only time I've watched QVC for more than 2 seconds and then this thread appears out of nowhere, on about the same thing?!! MAD.

I was in your home and your bird and your stash

This is what makes me think of getting one.

But then I think about how much I clean the bathroom now and wonder whether it will get used. But then I think if it was easy then I would do it more often...

Great for getting stuck on stuff off kitchen floors as well

Well I keep my stash in my bird and my bird in my home and I was in my home so you couldnt have been in any you liar.

*looks around*

Hang on....this isnt my house..........BASTARD! Fucking dementia

I've not used my steam cleaner in over a year, but it is bloody good for doing a deep clean. Bathroom and kitchen especially, but also windows. Need to give it a whirl again soon. :)

Bought a lidl steam mop ......used it on the the cooker hood., not really what it's designed for,, but I was impressed with the results.....

Then saw this for £46 on Amazon.....ah well .....should have bought a combo rather than just a mop......but ...won't break the bank...went for it...

.its bloody outstanding ....stripped my cooker out...did all the tiles and awkward corners , the back door ( it even took all the old paint drips off) ...cleaned the windows , ( steam squidgy attachment)......
,radiator's and valves......hate cleaning..... but once you see how clean surfaces turn out....can't stop !

Epic for the price

bought an extra set of nylon brushes for the bathroom and toilet .......I've done things to my toilet and surrounds which its never had happened to it since my house was built in the mid 70's ...shiny shiny ...... interestingly ... I've had a stubborn paint drip inside the throat on the U bend which always guaranteed a skid ....took it right off ....first time and some paint drips in the bath ..... tiles are epic ....they had some random silver transfers on them to break up the monotony of the floor to ceiling white tile ....took it all right off .....

cleaning is now fun

I spent most of yesterday afternoon using one - Renovating a window and its frame, which came-up like new. Very impressed. :)
