Nope - never been to one and I don't give a hoot.

Never taken pills, not because of the well-publicises fatalities, but because (in my personal experience) it turned some of my mates into narrow-minded wankers.

I just can't stand rave music, I don't care how it's put to me it's still utter crap. I don't like the sceane and I don't like the music, I have been to about three and I utterly hated it so I don't need a 'try it you might like it' .

I really dont' think it's a misoginistic joke, I find it funny, and it would have worked just as well if it was a guy in a similar condition (i.e. battered and dressed for it ).
