Anybody standing in the up and coming elections?

I don't think anyone considers themselves semites really, seeing as that crude attempt to divide everyone in the world into three racial groups died sometime back in the 19th century.

The NPA in France are currently predicted to do well and win up to 10 MEPs; the Portuguese Left Bloc, Dutch Socialist Party and German Left Party are also predicted to do well and probably gain seats. Fourth International supporters are active in all these parties.

In France, Holland, Portugal & Germany, your comrades are in left-wing alliances. In England and Wales, the situation is very different: ISGers were in the Socialist Alliance, but when the Social Workers scrapped the SA to embark on their daft (and now failed) experiment in Islamo-Trottery, you and your lot scurried afterwards, keen for a bit of hot mosque action. Now the Social Workers are gone and your lot are a tiny rump of Trots within al-Respeq, loyal and lowly, selflessly serving an ugly mixture of wiggy nuts, Slamists and businessmen.

It must be embarrassing at international gatherings, where the French and Portuguese Trots, for example, can boast of their (modest) successes and all you and your lot can say is that you've helped to get some businessmen and Sharia-mongers elected to local councils.

Old Lev Davidovich is turning in his Mexican grave.

I think the record's got stuck ... I think the record's got stuck ... I think the record's got stuck ... I think the record's got stuck ... I think the record's got stuck ... I think the record's got stuck ... I think the record's got stuck ... I think the record's got stuck ... I think the record's got stuck ... I think the record's got stuck ... I think the record's got stuck ...

Yes, you and the ISG repeat and repeat and repeat and repeat...

At least your counterparts in other countries have given themselves a better role to repeat than the craven little role you and the wretched ISG have given yourselves.

I think the record's got stuck ... I think the record's got stuck ... I think the record's got stuck ... I think the record's got stuck ... I think the record's got stuck ... I think the record's got stuck ... I think the record's got stuck ... I think the record's got stuck ...

As Einstein said if you keep doing the same thing and then expect different results...Be prepared to be disappointed....
The trouble with you FG is you just aint as clever as me or einstein.......In fact your just about as clever as every other leftie still stuck down a dead end.....Socialism from above......Its never going to work......

Just intrigued as to whether anyone's looking to stand, is standing or has stood as a candidate in elections.

If you have, how was it for you?

Apart from not being allowed (civil service), I don't think I have a thick enough skin to stand, don't have a party affiliation and don't have strong enough "local" connections or friends to support any bid.

What would stop you from standing?

I was a Councillor for 12years on one of the lowest-paid Councils in the UK.

Most of us were working full-time , but it's a Borough Council & most meetings
were held in the evening , so it didn't cause many work problems , except for shift-workers , but Councillors are legally entitled to take time off for meetings etc anyway.
