Savage Henry said:Still Villa ! you got humiliated in the first half so you had to come out in the second half with better performance . Admittedly it was a fucking good performance but I'd be concerned for your premiership survuval if it takes a 2nd division being 3-1 up at half time before Villa actually come out and play decent football !
fair point. but you still can't get away with that arse cringeing display of premature gloating...as soon as i saw the start of this thread today i couldn't wait to scroll through.
as it happens i like the new villa - if you are as used to boring play and scorelines as villa fans are getting beat 4-0 and then winning 8-3 is manna from heaven

Villa Park is one of the oldest football grounds in the world, you div! The place now lacks some of it's former architectural glory, but on the whole it's still a fine stadium. Of course, I was disappointed they knocked the old Trinity stand down, but the replacement is far better on the inside for comfort, views and facilities. I've been to most of the great stadiums - including San Siro, Bernabeau, Camp Nou, Old Trafford, Loftus Road
- but none of them have the character of Villa Park. And nor does any other ground I've ever been to either.
