id have to say its not that bad these days....the knew trinity is a nice modern stand, the holtes well...the holte.....the witton lane has been renamed after some pathetic dinosaur....but the north end is a tad shite...

yeah i'l give ya that...our old trinity road was a work of art from the outside...the walls are atill inside the new stand apparently as we couldnt knock it down..it was listed.....but the steps up the holte end though...as famous a sight as any footy ground

Some of the OLDER grounds?! Villa Park is one of the oldest football grounds in the world, you div! The place now lacks some of it's former architectural glory, but on the whole it's still a fine stadium. Of course, I was disappointed they knocked the old Trinity stand down, but the replacement is far better on the inside for comfort, views and facilities. I've been to most of the great stadiums - including San Siro, Bernabeau, Camp Nou, Old Trafford, Loftus Road - but none of them have the character of Villa Park. And nor does any other ground I've ever been to either.
